What your gift supports

Three kinds of work. One purpose.

Gifts help cover the real costs of this work, like travel, materials, venues and time, so I can say yes to more of it.

01

Advocacy and leadership training

Trainings for young people and the adults who work beside them: leading, speaking, organizing, advocacy and taking care of each other. Most of them I build with the Young Adults Development Network.

02

Lobbying and advocacy campaigns

Connecting local stories to the people who make policy. With the FCNL Advocacy Corps, I joined community leaders in Washington, D.C. to lobby for community gun violence prevention.

03

Community organizing

Helping neighbors speak up and keep showing up. As Lead Organizer of Change for Concord, now Hope Project New Hampshire, with AFSC New Hampshire, I helped lead the long push for lights at Keach Park.

Questions

Good to know.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

No. This is personal support for my work, not a gift to a charity or nonprofit, so it is not tax-deductible.

Is this a donation to the Young Adults Development Network?

No. YDN is its own organization. To support YDN directly, visit ydnofficial.org.

What will my gift pay for?

The real costs of my leadership work: trainings, advocacy and lobbying trips, organizing and the time it takes to do them well.

Can I give every month?

Yes. Choose Monthly above and your card is charged that amount each month through Wix's secure checkout. Email me any time to change or stop it.

Can I give another way?

Email me at fistondayishimiye@gmail.com and we will find a way that works for you.

Is this for a political campaign?

No. The donation pages from my 2025 City Council campaign stay in the campaign archive as part of the record.

Thank you. Together we go further.

Every gift, message and share tells young people and neighbors that their voices matter. I am grateful you are part of this work.
